Samsung recently announced that it will not be releasing Samsung Galaxy Z smartphone in UK.According to Samsung the Galaxy S phones are still bring them a considerable amount of profit and they are really famous in the UK so they do not want to cut their market share and divert people’s attention turn to  Samsung Galaxyž smartphone too fast.In a way,  Samsung‘s strategy is very interesting, but those in UK who were waiting for Samasung Galaxy Z smartphone it is a bad news.

This new cell phone is a combination of 19003 Galaxy SL and S II.Its screen size is 4.2 inches and the interesting part is that it has a Super Clean LCD technology rather than Super AMOLED.In addition to all these interesting features it has dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC clocked at 1GHz, 8GB onboard storage,a 5 megapixel camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The phone’s internal memory  is 8GB which is further extendable through a Micro SD card.

Nokia N9

After the introduction of Nokia N9 ,Nokia came back in the smartphones industry. But it looks like Britain will miss this smart phone.Yes it is true because an official statement from Nokia Executive confirmed this news. According to Nokia it is entirely focused on its Windows Mobile and has no plans to introduce N9 in UK.The statement said “while we are pleased with the positive reception that the Nokia N9 has received, here in the UK there are no plans to provide the Nokia N9 at present.”Well this ia a bad news for all Nokia fans in the UK.Nokia N9 is one of the most popular smartphones by Nokia and people using it are really enjoying it. Its size, shape, colors and features all are well.The camera and the display are so brilliant and users attracted by those features.

Another statement by Nokia said “When we launch Windows phones we will essentially be out of the Symbian business, the S40 business”. To be sure, which means that Nokia is fully putting itself behind the Windows Phones , and plans to introduce something big.Some people expected that a new Nokia N9 version will be launched with the Windows Mango phones.

Apple iOS 5 Golden Master

Apple iOS 5 Golden Master will be available to the iPod, iPad and iPhone customers soon. The iOS GM will be sent to the iPhone and iPod touch manufacturers soon in September and it will be installed in the upcoming Apple device and customers will be able to upgrade their operating systems with new version.People are not only waiting for iPhone 5, but they are also waiting for iOS 5 Golden Master.Apple has promised to introduce more than 200 functions in the iOS 5 and people wish to experience them all as quickly as possible.

According to some recent reports Apple is planning to introduce low cost iPhone’s into the market. It means it will be introducing some low-price models of iPhone 4 ,but which will have limited features. Most likely, they will have less memory and will only run on 2G or 3G networks.It is also thought that some of the low price models will not even feature Wi-Fi connectivity. It looks like Apple finally entered to diversification. But how far this plan will work for them no one knows.
